ORIGINAL DISHWALLA BASSIST SCOT ALEXANDER DEPARTS BAND

FRIENDS FILL IN INCLUDING TONIC’S DAN LAVERY AND LOW MILLIONS JORGEN CARLSSON

Santa Barbara rock band Dishwalla has announced that their longtime bass player Scot Alexander will be leaving the band to spend more time with his family in Idaho.  Alexander, a founding member, most recently performed on their current album Dishwalla.   “We will miss Scot tremendously but understand and respect his decision,” says frontman JR Richards. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

In the meantime Dishwalla, have recruited some friends to take over bass duties for their 2005 US tour.  Tonic’s Dan Lavery, Jorgen Carlsson from Low Millions and Los Angeles studio musician David Sutton will all take turns filling in until a permanent replacement is found.
